Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat & Prep:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2️⃣ Mix Dry Ingredients:
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
3️⃣ Cream the Butter & Sugar:
In a separate bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 2 minutes). Add egg, vanilla, and sour cream, and mix until smooth.
4️⃣ Combine & Form Dough:
Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until a soft dough forms.
5️⃣ Roll & Coat:
Scoop 1 tbsp of dough, roll into a ball, and coat in granulated sugar. Place on a baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
6️⃣ Bake to Perfection:
Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are set but not browned. (They will look slightly underbaked—this keeps them soft!)
7️⃣ Cool & Enjoy!
Let cookies cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
