- 6 medium russet potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced

Sauce:
- 2 cups milk (whole milk preferred)
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Optional Toppings:
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs for added crunch
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Make a cheese sauce by whisking butter, flour, and milk. Add seasonings and cheese.
- Layer sliced potatoes and cheese sauce in the dish.
- Top with more cheese, cover, and bake for 30 minutes.
- Uncover and bake 15–20 minutes until golden. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
